Ascea stands in the heart of the National park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano. It is an open air wonder of matchless beauty with an environment that keeps unchanged its harmony with nature and thousand year old history.

Ascea is a seaside resort located between Punta Licosa and Palinuro; thanks to its central position, it is the ideal place to reach the most important tourist destinations in the area (Agropoli, Acciaroli, Camerota, Padula, Pestum, Palinuro, Pertosa etc.) in a short time. Ascea, with its hotels, farm holidays, residences and discos is very close the archaeological site of Velia, where the ruins of the Greek and Roman city join the Aragonese castle, just 2 km away from Casal Velino beach and 13 km from Palinuro.
